Tiya Ayele was born in Alexandria, Virginia in 2001. She has lived in Blacksburg, Virginia for the past 4 years earning her BFA in Studio Art from Virginia Tech which she received in 2024. Ayele now lives in Springfield, Virginia and works in D.C’s Chinatown area.
